Most of my high ranking pages dropped by 30 - 60 positions

At the end of last year, we added a new site feature on our site to show links to frequently searched keywords result pages in our product pages but forgot to add a "nofollow" tag. Since then, Google had indexed many of the search result pages on my site and around 10 days later, most of my high ranking pages dropped by 30 - 60 positions. Is this a -30 penalty?

As soon as we realized the issue, we have disallowed all these search result pages in robots.txt, and removed these pages via the "Remove URLs" tool, and requested
reconsideration at my webmaster account a few days later.

I have observed the duplicate tag errors drop from 74000 from the day we discovered the issue all the way down to the current 742, but the drop slowed down to a few per day. During this period, we have submitted quite some URL removal requests and thought that was working until the drop in number of duplicate tag errors slowed down.

What else can I do? How long should I wait for recovery of my search ranks?

Those search result pages have gone from SERP using "site:" command in google, but the duplicate tag errors drop lowed down to a few per day.
What else can I do so that google re-crawls them and speeds up the process of cleaning up the errors?

ruby99 - Welcome to WebmasterWorld.

This doesn't address your question of cleaning up after those search results pages... but you might want to keep an eye on this discussion as well....

Potential causes for dropping -50 across the board?
