This is a very old issue, but I am getting frustrated to watch the years pass on and Google does nothing to stop this.

In the last few days my blog is under a crazy spam attack getting many hundreds of comments per day, all linking to spammy forum profiles hosted on respectful and trustworthy domains. As I said, there is nothing new in this black hat technique but why the hell does it work so well for the spammers?

It is ridiculous how easy to get these profile pages to rank even for moderately competitive keywords.

Will google deal with the problem one day?

Parasite hosting works because webmasters and hosting services are very lax in security, but I can't see how Google is responsible for fixing the situation. What should they do, decide not to index any changes for existing web pages? It's not only Google results that are affected - the results from EVERY search engine are affect.
