I was wondering how long it would take for a ban to come into effect in the results once the hammer was dropped on a given site. I've seen new pages in the results within minutes on some of our bigger and busier sites. Knowing how fast things move with the modern Google Alog do you think they could have all traces of a site removed within a matter of hours? My only experience with a banned site was a couple of years back and it lost toolbar PR first then a few days later it was total history, I expect modern Google would be much faster.
