Main kw rankings hijacked - and my backlinks also show for the hijacker

Dear All

I am not sure this has been discussed, but it turns to my big attention as I am losing my Google ranking to Hijackers.

All of the main keyword ranking now replaced by hijacked site instead of my site. They stole my content using Teleport.

My main concerns is when I use the link: operator for my site, Google returns same results for hijacker site, when I check the hijacker site on the inbound links, I can not find it, just my site.

So I wonder how it can be done, and how Google treated my site as duplicate content and my inbound links are also counted for the hijacker site?

I am looking for your help. any suggestions and advise are truly treasured now as my traffic is dropping.

The first thing I'd suggest is sending a reconsideration request through your Webmaster Tools account. This may well get a manual look from Google at what exactly is going on. If things are as you say, there is a problem with the way the algo analyzes your site. Google does not intend for others to be able to hijack you like this.

If you want some direct feedback (since they usually don't answer reconsideration requests) you could also try Google Groups.

As well as the above while you're logged in to your Google sitemap account click the link on the right that says "Report spam in our index" and fill in all the details and tell Google that the other site is violating your copyrighted content. It can take a few days/weeks but Google will usually remove the site from their index.

Tester and Mysticalsock, I deeply appreciated your help regarding this. My concern is how Google knows it is my original content and not hijackers?

Secondly, the hijackers are downloading other websites on same topics and it is so dangerous if Google can not prevent this, Google's index will be good for spammers to stay and exploit.

Thirdly, how Google returns same backlinks profile for they as mine? their PageRank is also same with mine. When I use the link:example.tld command, Google returns the same for: link:hackersite.tld?

I do hope that noone will never experience the same as not only lose traffic but branding name to hackers.
