last week I switched hosting companies from a US IP to a Canadian IP address and server. How long before you start showing up in google.ca search results?

I rank ok on some keyword phrases in google.com searches but not in .ca

thanks

Geo-location changes can take weeks, or even months to work their way through. You usually need patience - and backlinks from the target country, which can help country ranking, too. Make sure to set your target country in Webmaster Tools.

If your domain is a .ca, that works much more powerfully than a hosting change.

They need to crawl each single URL from the new IP, so it depends how many URLs you have. You can do a site: command and see your URLs disappear slowly from the old country and then do a site: command in the new country.

Thanks for the comments, I only moved the domain one week ago. It has about 500 pages.
