Google's pages counter is going absolutely nuts, and has been doing for a while. The number of available results always varies and now they are showing me 18 pages out of 13 ... how queer ...

We had another mention of this kind of error recently. Yes, these numbers can get very strange, especially when the total page count is small. And my impression is that there's been more of this strangeness the past few weeks.
