Will Google remove a website that imitates your name and business model?

I recently found a website that stole my business name and cloned my website's business model. It comes up at #7 on Google when I type in my business name.

The owner of the site is in Canada and I am in the USA. I am trying to figure out what I can do about this. For example, if I owned acme-widgets.com and I was selling widgets, could someone get away with starting a website using the domain name acme-widgets.ca and selling widgets on their website? Will Google do anything in a situation like this? Are their any international laws to protect this from happening to someone?

I am getting so sick and tired of people stealing intellectual property that I could puke! I have had several of my websites cloned by Indian programmers. This is getting out of control!
