If i am trying to increase the popularity on Google for www.exampledomain.com

Is it going to help the domains rank for keywords if I have a bunch of landing pages, such as our customer's linking to: www.exampledomain.com/specific/index.html?

Basically we have a bunch of landing pages on our back end that link from our customer's, unfortunately they all have to have their own custom back end landing page, is this helping our domain rank? or only the individual landing pages?

Thanks,

tedster

Hello danieljohn, and welcome to the forums.

I can't say for sure because we do not offer site reviews here and a lot would depend on your specific set-up. My first guess is that these landing pages are not helping you - and if those pages are very similar then they might even make things more difficult if Google indexes them.

However, if they each hold relatively unique content, and if they each link directly into the regular urls on your site -- and most of all, if Google is allowed to index them and is doing so, then they could be helping.
