I went and had a look because the actual winner was a very striking design.
What struck me was how the designs changed with the age groups, the younger ones and older ones kept very strongly with the standard Google lettering styles, but in the 11-14 category they really threw away any reliance on the current lettering and came up with stuff that was very different.
whopps ..hit post too quick "Gilbert Shelton" was fat freddy's cat artist ..Bob Crumb was "cheap thrills" , "Fritz" etc ..
I was sort of "unfocused" frequently when I first read them both .-) they are somewhat similar ..and the winner definately read / saw "Crumb" ..
