Hi,

I started a [snip] site a year ago. Since then, I wrote about 2-5 new (original) articles every day - I have abosolutely no duiplicate content and my site is structered well. After one year, the front page is still dropping every month for my main keywords but the single articles are all ranked extremely well.

My front page is somewhere on page 20 of google for my targeted keywords, what can I be doing wrong and how can I fix this issue so that the site at least rises a few places in the SERPs instead of dropping each month?

Thanks!

A front page performing worse than inner pages is pretty common behaviour, as inner pages usually target more niche, and therefore less competitive keywords.

The implication is that your homepage is insufficient to perform for the keywords you're targeting. That might be because of internal links, external links or simply due to selecting keywords that are too competitive. In the majority of cases, it's either internal or external links that need bolstering.
