Consequences of 90-100% bounce rate?

We're getting unusually high traffic from G for a very specific combination of keywords - possibly due to a mention of those words on a TV show (flash mob when the show airs or is repeated).

The topic of that page is very marginally related to the rest of our content, and the result is a bounce rate between 90 and 100% for each combination of these 3 keywords... On days this takes place, our regular traffic is pretty much eclipsed.

Has anyone experienced a similar situation? Did it have (pos/neg) consequences for G traffic in the long run?

For sites that I've seen picking up lots of irrelevant traffic I haven't seen any impact of search engine performance at all, but then I'm pretty sceptical about the impact of individual site stats on SERPs anyway. In some instances I've "de-optimised" content for undesirable word combinations, but not for search performance reasons.
