Google Main Search Advantage for Google Base Feed of Reviews?

I fed Google Base about 200 reviews last week. The reviews are not for anything that is product or shopping cart related.

So far I see a few hundred displays with 1 click through to the site.

Do you think it helps any in the main search engine to have a google base feed? Do these links count for interior page link popularity?

Is there any advantage to have a Google Base feed for items that aren't in a shopping cart?

Reviews help products get listed in the "Shopping Results" that get blended in by Universal Search. So I'm not sure what you mean by "The reviews are not for anything that is product or shopping cart related."

If you are seeing those links by clicking into the Reviews section, have you noticed any help in the organic searches? I'd be surprised by that, since it would seem to create a spam loophole.

Sorry . . . guess I need to clarify. Let's say your site didn't sell products but you are a social network on health rating a folklore remedy or rating the best cities in the world to visit or reviewing green solutions for our environment.

From what I am seeing for a quick data feed of non-product related reviews, they don't do much for search rankings so far or visitor traffic. However, longterm is there any benefit such as the Google links add to link popularity for interior pages?
