Can overture sponsored links leak link equity?

Hello,

Just been discussing something and I wanted to get some more opinions.

Can Yahoo overture ads leak link equity when Google indexes they page they appear on?

The reason I ask is that I have always assumed they wouldn't, but I have seen other sites rel=nofollow these links or place them in an iframe. Is this something I should be doing or does it not matter?

I don't think so - the ads are generated by javascript so the urls do not appear directly in the source code for the page.
