Hi All,
One of my websites has seen a huge site wide drop in rankings since last 4 days.
5 yrs old PR4 site, 3K pages. I have some following pointers but not sure which has caused the problem

1. Hosting problem and hot linking problem: my host changed my servers(mayb internal ip addrr changed. took 1 day for DNS changes). During this half of the site was not available. Gbot comes almost everyday. This continued for 3 days or so. Also hot linking to my images added another 2 to 3 days of downtime as bandwidth exceeded. Added entry in .htacess to prevent hotlinking.

2. Some title changes. On few of the pages which receive 5% of total traffic made one word relevant changes to title. cross linked these high traffic pages.

Looks like i have a google penalty ?
Also are there any updated guides to check for symptoms and remedy?

Please provide your expert inputs.
Thanks

I'm almost certain it's a temporary result of your hosting problems. Google doesn't want to send their end user to a page that they can't get. Give it a bit more time. After googlebot is consistently retreiving pages for a few more days then your rankings should turn around. Four days is too early to have big concerns.

I'd say a week. Watch your Webmaster Tools account, in case something more is going on that you haven't identified yet.
