hi,

On many occasions have noticed while using a "domain name" query..Google and all SEs show title as its particular domain name, but when a generic search query is typed..title on SERPs change.

To clarrify, when we type "example" domain "example.com" shows up with title "Brand Name". But when I type "competitive keywords" on google it shows the same page with a different title.

Can somebody explain how it happens ?

thnks.

Do you have an ODP listing? And if so, are you seeing that being used?

I've seen this too for various sites. No correlation with DMOZ listing and titles...it just varies from site to site whether they are DMOZ listed or not.
