Yes, very powerful... considering that crawler and indexer are separate parts of application (even on separate hardware)... Their "batch" of index changes is very fast and frequent (once an hour?)...

I was reminded recently that about 1-2 years ago, Google deployed their "Minty Fresh" Googlebot.
