How long to see changes

Since my continued loss of traffic at the beginning of July I have made numerous changes. Most have been made in the past week or so. My question is, how long should it take for me to see if my changes are effective. I have updated my meta tags, removed some duplicate content, updated my site map, found 3 dead links, added new content, etc....
I'm still scratching my head...

don't you have a crystal ball?

You'll need one if you want to figure google out.

I understand your frustration, yeah, it would be nice if we could see effects of what we've changed over-night.
