Do a google.co.uk search from AU - does it match a search from the UK?

If a searcher is located in say Australia and goes onto google .co.uk
does he see the same search results as I would doing a search whilst located in the UK?

I know that for .com Google alters the results based on the ip etc but wasn't sure about country specific google tld.

I haven't heard of Google creating geo-located variations for their country TLDs, but they certainly could at any time. We've got a thread that offers some ways you can test for yourself:

[webmasterworld.com...]
