Can we have all top 10 listings for the keyword "Company Name?

I currently work for a Company that is looking to have one of their many sites in all of the top 10 results for the keyword 'company'. I was wondering if this is possible?

It seems like I can't get anymore then 4 of our corporate sites in the top 10. High PR company sites that have the word 'company' in their title, content, etc won't get higher then the second page.

An even weirder thing is that the #4-5 spot for the keyword alternates between a different one of the corporate sites. So it picks a random company site that is normally in the search terms 11-40 and puts it at #4-5 for a day and then rotates.

I'm assuming that google has set a cap for the # of results a certain ip or server can have in the top 10 for a certain keyword? (All of the company sites are hosted on the same server.) Is this what is causing the problem?

Can anyone think of anything else that could be causing this? All of the company sites are unique content and should rank in the top 10 based on PR, Content, Links, etc.

Any suggestions on how we can get all of our corporate sites to rank in the top 10 for our company name?

(I don't really consider this bad since anyone searching for our company name is probably looking for one of our corporate sites; the company name isn't a keyword anyone else would want to rank for.)

The cards are stacked against you - see this recent thread about diversity [webmasterworld.com] in the Google Search results.

As long as the other sites are discussing your company favorably, there's no real problem that I can see. But there might be a problem if Google sees heavy attempts to dominate the search results from sites that they know are all related to your company.

If you search on big international company names, you will see this enfocred diversity at work. Even though they own many official domains, there are always other urls popping into the SERPs.

So I'm not saying it's impossible, but I am saying it's hard and the attempt may cause you troubles, so it's not too wise, especially with important company domains.

anyone searching for our company name is probably looking for one of our corporate sites

I don't think that's true. Consider how important independent opinions are in many people's minds. Having positive but independent opinion available in the SERPs about your Company Name may be even better than dominating them with controlled and officail messaging.

Most of the other sites are positive; or don't relate to our company at all. However there are a select few fake "review" sites that claim to have used our product and then at the end of their "review" they try to sell their own competing product. These sites fake "review" 100's of companies trying to advertise and profit off of other people's brand names.

While most people can spot these as scam sites there are a lot of potential customers or current customers who see these sites and believe them.

Therefore our company would obviously like to push them down in the SERPS.

Since Google wants diversity and won't rank all of our company sites how would you suggest going about pushing them down?
