Hello there.

Something really strange on Google lately.

I have made a search on almost 50 datacenters and for one of my customer the results is different on www.google.fr ONLY

Then i made a ping on www.google.fr and the ips (change regularly) were on my 50 datacenter list...

on www.google.fr my customer never appear in 100 first results

on all datacenter such as 209.85.135.104 my customer never appear on first/second page

Strange! Sometime the google.xx results can be disconnected from datacenter IP ? or maybe Google analyze in real time the referer ?

Thanks.

A specific IP address does not always point to the same data center, and results that you see from a given IP address do not always correcspond with ANY google tld. There is apparently another step that gets introdiuced, especially when geotargeting comes into the picture. We've got some related threads in theHot Topics [webmasterworld.com], which is always pinned to the top of this forum's index page.

Thank you Tedster

Very insteresting Threads.

I will continue to search a real Way to match results.

Btw it is the quite the same also with Google Maps / Google Earth and even google universal search for geolocalisation. Results differs a lot.
