I have a page. Call it example.com/city-name

if I search in GOOGLE.com it is nowhere in the SERPS. However pages deeper such as example.com/city-name/category still appear.

if I add the http:// to make it http://example.com/city-name the page now appears.

Searching in google.com.br the page is fine with or without http://

one other thing. The page now lists 0 as a page rank which it shouldnt.

Any thoughts or ideas.

I really wouldn't worry about 'webmaster searches' - what matters is the kind of search that potential visitors will make. Test that by searching for [a unique string of text] from the page. If that appears ok, then nothing to worry about.

Visible page rank is 3-4 months old, so, again, probably nothing to worry about. Did you have any server problems when Google might have called?

Are the other pages OK?

Have you had any problems keeping to google's webmaster guidelines (eg link problems; recips, paidlinks, etc?)?

I totally agree about 'webmaster searches' however it seems like a definite page issue and is reflected in a big hit to our traffic. That's why I'm concerned. Doing a similar search for any other city pages ie.

http://example.com/other-city-name

http://example.com/a-third-city-name etc etc.

all those pages show as the first result.

I was hoping some would see this and suggest potential on page or off page issue that *may* be the cause. I know it's tough without seeing the page itself.
