I have a blog with about 400 pages and i noticed when i submit a new article in my blog it pops in google in minutes! well, this does not last long because in a couple of days or so the article is gone from the Google search. I noticed that many times happening and i have heard it is normal for blogs. well my questions are:

- will all of my pages finally be indexed and not taken off from google one day?
- if so when? (my blog is 4 months old but it is in a subfolder of a website that is 3 years old)

Thanks

We had another report like this a couple months ago. It sounds like the old "honeymoon" period when the sandbox was a big deal.

When you say your urls are "gone from Google Search", are you talking abobut keyword search or the site: operator?

Yes, and then they come back and go again and so on and on. By the way, my main url is not new, only the blog folder is. So do you think the sandbox affect my blog folder?

All I know for sure is that we are hearing more of this kind of report. Google may be preparing for major shifts in their infrastructure or algorithm - and that always means some bugs. Just a guess, of course, but Ms. Google's slip seems to be showing a bit more often these days, and wardrobe malfunctions often mean a new wardrobe is on the way.

If you study your blog and can't find anything wrong, then just get back to business and make it even better, that's what I'd say. If you attract more quality backlinks, that starts to give you a bit of protection against the hidden corners in Google's indexing.
