Ranking with "kéyword" but not with "keyword"

Hello. I have a domain which is 6 month old. I offer a special service which hasn't existed in this field of business so far, so I was able to get a lot of links from people using this service.

Although most people are linking to me with the product-name ("keyword"), my position with this name is still about 387 or so. As I checked my position today, I mistyped and found myself ranking for "kéyword" at position 2.

Any idea what kind of filter is applied or what I could do about it?

G has become very clever with understanding misspellings. Have you checked if the "kyword" appears somewhere on your page? Some of the misspellings are so rare that if you have them on your page you will get a hit.

I'm just curious, does that kéyword appear in your domain name? If so, type that into the browser address bar. Where does it go?

Hi and thanks for your replies. I neither have "kéyword" on my page nor in my domain-name - I checked this several times. I even have no links with this anchor-text. And it works for ALL domains.

It seems that G is thinking of a misspelling and really searchs for "keyword". And it seems that filters applying for "keyword" are not applied for "kéyword".
