Forum Moderators: Robert Charlton & goodroi
Do I have to wait for the next scheduled google scanning to see the dead links removed or is there a way, a procedure i can explain to the forum site I was talking about, to help them remove these 2 caches? I've also used the google removal tools but the result was always "denied".
once the webmaster has removed a threads from a forum can he still do something later to delete the cache copy or it can only be solved by the google site?
Can someone help me?

If the former page now returns a 404 status code (and not just an error message in text) then the cache page will soon disappear. If the status code is 200 or a 302 redirect to a 200, then the old cache may stick around a lot longer, but eventually you should see the error message in the cache instead of the inappropriate posts that you want to see removed.
well the fact is that when i make the google search it gives me 2 links. when I open them it does not give me an error state, the forum just opens and says "the topic you are looking for no longer exists". what I need is that they disactivate the links to the copy cache.. is it possible?
you should see if it returns an actual 404 error in the header, where as the CMS is handling the error with a "topic you are looking for no longer exists" template to allow for visitors to continue surfing the site.
I've seen where it can take up to a year for pages that return a 404 code to be removed from google's index.
some say that i only have to wait for the forum to be crawled a couple of times to see the copy cache reflecting the results of the deleted pages.. others say it'll take months.. that the reason of my confusion..
and stay away from Italian jokes ;)
If crawling is an issue you can link to that 404 page, but I am not sure if Google keeps the cache longer, given that it's important in their eyes (given that someone linked to it)
