I turned a bunch of Google news searches into RSS feeds that I use with Opera. They worked really well for ages until many weeks ago, when they suddenly stopped updating. I wanted to test the search code that was in the RSS feed, so I pasted the search string back into the regular news search. It apparently thought i was a spammer and asked me to validate by typing in a bunch of letters. When I did, my search came up. This happened with several different RSS news searches.
In any case, has Google made changes that affect the news search rss feeds for your own search queries? Has anyone else experienced this issue, and is there a way to fix it so that they will again automatically update in Opera? I've tried it with Opera 9.26, 9.27 and the new 9.5 and the problem persists in all three.
Any help in fixing this would be greatly appreciated!
