Can previously incorrect urls cause a -30 penalty?

i have recently discovered a error in my code in that pages that are supposed to read domain.co.uk/directory/page.asp?id=1 was reading domain.co.uk/?id=1 until i fixed it can this cause a - 30 penalty?

The true minus 30 penalty was historically applied for serious attempts to manipulate Google that created a major loss of trust. But the error you described certainly could harm your rankings - hard to say by how many positions. Glad you found and fixed it.

well that blows my hopes of regaining the natural number position when typing domain into the search box. I have done absolutely everything to regian this but i have now run out of ideas as that was my best hunch, i have checked all text colours, links also many other fixes inc canconical. Anyone got some ideas..maybe a checklist

I would try and get some links back from high trust sites and directories now you have fixed the problem.

can you give me some ideas on what and how to look for a trust site. Does a high trust site have high pr?
