Google is indexing my blog strangely

My website is a blog and to let Mr. G know that it has been updateed I use various ping services, including Feedburner.

Up until a few days ago every new post got indexed after almost the same amount of time.

Since Friday, without me changing anything and posting the same as always, Mr. G started indexing just a few posts. The other posts get indexed as usual, but it takes a lot more for G's datacenters to update.

To conclude:
- some posts get indexed as usual and G's datacenters update immediately
- the other get indexed as usual but the datacenters take ages to update.

Do you have any idea why this is happening?

An important fact, i believe, is this: my blog is in English and Friday (when this started happening) I got a number of links from a German website. Is it possible that G believes I'm a German website and updates first his German datacenters?

Sorry for the stupid questions, but it's driving me crazy.

Please help me if you have any idea about what it is happening.

Thank you in advance!

Sure, it's possible that the German links are wreaking havoc. But I'll bet things settle down in a bit - short terms Google bugs are pretty common right now

Not blogs alone - many webmasters here are posting about large swings in traffic and rankings, from very high to very low, and back again and again. Maybe you're part of whatever that is. See these threads:

I would keep to GOOD CONTENT and GOOD NEW ideas and not worry daily about your placement.
