I have a small niche site for a professional service that until a week ago was producing a small but steady supply of leads for our business. The site is hosted on (domainexample1) but it also has about 20 other keyword domains that mirror to it. One of which we have started using as it is the new brand of our business. This (domainexample2) has now got some backlinks and in the recent google shuffle, it is now ranking in the SERPs, while the original (domainexample1) is no longer ranking.

IS IT TIME TO SWICH THEM?

decisions decisions...

and once I do decide do I use a 301 for the whole site?

Thanks for any advice...

It's not a good idea to mirror content on another domain. Yes, it's time to 301 redirect all the other domains to your main domain.

thanks Tedster, this i have done now...
just checked and it appears that the index page of the site is the one that is dropped out of google... I am just waiting patiently now til it comes back... fingers crossed...

It would appear that it is only dropped for 3-4 DCs with the rest of them showing the old rankings, but my traffic is down down down...
