Google is not indexing my sub domain which is live since 4 month. It is a sub domain of a very old site with good PR, linked with fair balance from the old pages. Sub domain also has good 20 to 25 Back links from th other sites. But google is not indexing the domain. The other 3 sub domain on the same site are doing well which are only 2 month old and having few links from the old site or from the out side.

What could be the issue with the sub domain. Sud i try removing the subdomain and change the name..?

Pls suggest.

No indexing at all seems very odd, so let's back up to the step before indexing. Is googlebot spidering the urls in your subdomain - even the root?

google in crawling the main domain including 2 other sub domain but not very frequently, once in 15 days or something, but crawling. main domain is last spidered by google "retrieved on 29 Apr 2008 14:42:01 GMT." Which looks fine as far as the crawling is concerned.

One of my suddomain spidered on "as retrieved on 20 Apr 2008 02:30:02 GMT." 2 month old sub domain

Second of my suddomain spidered on "as retrieved on 25 Apr 2008 21:16:42 GMT." 40 days old sub domain

but the very first subdomain is not spidered at all...

Do you have a webmaster tools account? I'd suggest declaring the problem subdomain as a "website" in webmaster tools so you can see any error information Google has. Sure sounds like something is wrong.

yes i have my account and i also have there number of sites for same widget, so google might corelate those sites with this instead of the problem fix, i might get more issues with this new or already added site.. what do you say.... bcoz already added sites and this site has different Google ads account so do you think it is fine to add in the same account or i should have a new GWT account for this site only...

Is it indexed in other search engines? Are you sure that it does not have any crawling issues?

Use webmaster tools and let us know how you go with it, I have a similar issue on a pretty old site - new sub is not showing up in the google results despite good content and links. I'm going to try adding it to my tools account to see what happens.
