This is new to me, I wonder how you qualify for one of these?

[google.com.au...]

general rule of no specific search terms for this post. >

Fascinating, kidder. How do you arrive at this particular SERP?

Well it sent me traffic so I back tracked the URL from my stats - then I changed the term to "search" for the purpose of this thread. I though it was about the best signal of "trust" I have ever seen.

If you figure out how to trigger that interface going in through google.com.au please let us know. Can you check into the IP address for that traffic? I'm wondering if it might it be triggered by a Custom Search Engine (CSE) that includes the university as one of its searchable domains, or possibly a Google Search Appliance.

I can't find an obvious way to make it trigger from the Google AU search. The referrer was just from a general user off a major isp so nothing special there (I don't always get an IP). The search was real estate related, property rental.

I'm pretty sure at this point that this site-specific GUI choice is the result of a Google CSE (custom search engine). If you go to the college's home page, you can see a site search box in the upper right, and it is a Google CSE.
