Can Multiple Sites in one Analytics Account Lead to Penalties?

I just opened a Google Analytics account. I added the java script code to several site I manage and own. Most of these sites are in the same, main product area for me, and most have links to each other focusing on certain keywords.

Is this a bad idea? Have I just confirmed that one entity is behind all of these sites, and therefore links between them aren't worth as much as "external" links?

Or is there a Chinese wall between Search and Analytics?

I'd say you're OK. Because these sites are interlinked anyway, Google has most likely seen the common ownership a while ago - so any negative or dampening effects due to that factor are already in place.

Whether there's a true "Chinese Wall" in place, I can't say. But I can say I've never seen troubles from linking Analytics accounts.
