Just wondered how much of this original article still applies. Things like at least two outbound links to major web sites about the topic, insite crosslinks and is it still necessary to have a dedicated IP?. I didn't know that one.

I don't know if you'll get 15K a day, but yes, you can and should still use it as a guide. It's more of a fundamental approach to building traffic that doesn't change rather than a to do list -that makes it more timeless.

I've modified slightly what I do for site building through the years, but only midly. Most of what I do, the underlying concepts, haven't changed in years.
