When I check one of my web site log, I see that several people come to my site from google and also from altavista looking for adult content. This is strange since my site is not an adult web site.

When I check the keyword they are using in google, I see my domain listed there but pointing to non-existent pages. When I click the link, it goes to 404 error page. When I click the google cache, the cache is not found.

I wonder how non existent page can be indexed by search engine?

With a data set as large as today's web generates, oddities and bugs are bound to happen. Check to see that your server is returning a 404 http status in the server headers for that url. If it is, the bug should clear up. If it isn't - then make a change so it does.
