I am volunteer webmaster for a community organisation in the UK. One particular search arguement takes visitors to the contact page for the committee. There are no addresses on this page, just phone numbers amd links to an email form.

The search includes a map showing the chairman's home and his address. These details appear nowhere on the site. Is there some way by which he could have registered these details with G himself or are they mixing and matching info from different sites? (I know the address is on a list of local organisations published elsewhere).

Google probably crawled the data from a third pary site. Check the URL where the address appears in Google Maps.

Just discovered the Google Maps Local Business Center. He must have registered himself.
