PR3 to PR0 for two of my sites

two of my sites PR4 and PR3 are now PR0 .

for the First site, I have left column links which are only ( my sites + some links exchanges .) so i dont sell links .

I have some footer links ( Co-op weight of Digital point ) in the 2nd site (forum + site) but with No-follow. which i suspect that is the reason .
But i would like to heard if someone is having the same issue like me .

for the traffic there isnt a big change , only dropped a little .

IS this a penalization or an error ?

I have seen many other members complaining about this problem .

waiting your comments

thank you

The trouble in deciding whether it's a PR penalty or just an error is that Google's PR demotions often seem to affect the toolbar only, with no change in ranking. That seems to mean there's no change in real, behind-the-scenes PR. In other words, it's a way to hurt people who are "selling PR" by scaring away customers with a lowered visible PR.

If your traffic doesn't take a dive, then it could be either a toolbar bug OR one of these "window dressing" PR demotions -- and there's no easy way to tell.

You may be on to something with coop weight from DP. Maybe others in a similar situation will add to the thread.

thanks for your reply tedster

yes . it appear no change in my traffic ( just a little )

I have to note that all PR tools show that i have PR0 .

the funny thing is when i check some Pprediction tools i get

"Present PR : ( 0 ) ¦¦ Future PR : ( 0+Risk ) ~ Mystery+Unpredictable"

I dont know why this pr drop for my forum!

"some links exchanges" could also mean trouble if these websites had bought links from others and now Google is wrongly concluding that you too sold links to them. If I were you I would take these links out and submit a reconsideration request to G.

The link is on the bottom right side of the Dashboard page in your Webmaster Tools account. It's easy to set one up if you haven't done it already. You give Google almost no information (an email address, basically) and you get to see a lot of information that they already have about the sites that you validate with them.
