Does Google penalize sites with adult and gambling ads?

Hi, I have a legitamite web sites that displays gambling referral ads. They are loosly related and a good fit for my site. It also displays adultfriendfinder ads. Will the google search engine punish me for these ads even though my site is not a gambling or adult site? Thanks in advance for any info. RWguy

Not as far as I've ever heard - unless the advertising site was also part of a bad neighborhood and the link wasn't nofollowed. You may well need to raise your vigilence in those areas.

The safesearch filter could certainly kick in, however.
