Google Sitemap Pending for 2 days

It usually takes google to update my sitemap in 2-3 minutes after I resubmit it.

Now it has been stuck in pending for almost two days.

Does anyone have the same problem?

I checked my sitemap and I couldn't find anything wrong with it.

There was a similar situation to this last summer - you can read about it in the Google Group for Sitemaps - and at that time a sitemaps team member said they were having a technical issue with crawling.

2 days may be out of the ordinary for you, but it is not yet a catastrophe. If your xml is valid, then the only thing I know that you can do is wait it out. You also can post over in the Google Group, Sitemap Protocol discussion. I know the sitemaps team monitors messages and replies there.
