How do you get your site unindexed?

Hi

I would like to get the search engines to unindex my websites. I would like to do this so I can use the content on a new domain/website. I don't want to do a 301 redirect because I want to use content from 3 different websites and use it on a new domain. (They don't get any real traffic)

I don't want the new site to be hit with a duplicate content penalty. How long do I have to wait before I can put the content up on the new site?

Any idea how long this might take and how do I know it has? Do I just keep checking site:mydomain.com and when it no longer shows up any pages it has been unindexed and then it's safe to use the content on the new domain/website.

Any help or advise would be much appreciated.

Thanks

[google.com...]

A removal request happens within 3 to 7 days, in my experience.

You should also update your robots.txt file to block all search engines.
