Is it possible to utilize google search/google custom search/ google adsense search somehow to search withing a directory, eg under domain.com/mydirectory/*

So every url under /mydirectory/ is included in the search?

Thanks in advance.

Yes - if you're setting up a custom search engine, using what Google Custom Search Help calls "URL patterns" should do this for you.

[google.com...]

Just do a site search of the desired directory and add your search terms afterwards.

If you want to search, say, for "hilltop", within the Google Search sub-directory on WebmasterWorld, try this search [google.com]...

site:webmasterworld.com/google/ hilltop

tedster - Looks like we were posting at the same time and answered different parts of the same question.

Thanks for the URL patterns reference. Hadn't seen that one before. Very nice.
