Hello and thanks for any ideas you can offer.

We have a page in one site, that acts like a mini sitemap for one section of the site - this means that the page, besides some text, it has many links to other internal pages related to this section.
The page is being build by a template system, same as the rest of the site.
All metas (title, keywords, description), H1, H2, H3 are working properly.
Page has a PR 4 for the last 4 moths.

Now the strange thing.... when we perform a search with those keywords (refering to this page) in google, we can find the page (relative high, position 5th), but only as a link.
This means, we get to see our url (www.example.com/som/page/url.htm), but no text, title, de3scription.... nothing at all, but the url.
Also, we get no results at all when we perform a search with the text we have in this page. Google appears to not having cashed this page either.

There are no robot.txt rules for this page
There are no metas (NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW) rules in the page
There are no broken links leading to this page from any other page in the section of our site.
There are no broken links leading to other pages from this page.
All links in this page are refering to active pages (most of them have PR 5 or 6, while master index page has PR4)
The site hasnt changed server for the last 2 years

Any ideas why this is happening?
Its our first time noticing something like this - and so far we havent found any similar problems to any other similar page of ours (we cant scan all possible pages, they are well over 200k of them)

If what you say is correct, just relax for a few days, and next time when G comes to crawl it, everything will be normal. From time to time, G spider cannot access a page (a number of things can go wrong) and will display a page like that but when it can successfully crawl it again, it will appear normally.

Are you sure that your pages aren't indexed under domain.com URLs too?

Run Xenu LinkSleuth over the site and see what it reports.

Google responded to a like problem to me in a email.

We can't post emails here, but in short, they said it was likely they had a problem indexing the page in question.

After a couple of weeks, the problem went away without doing anything.

Google can have problems at times that are totally unrelated to your site. Always give a certain grace period before reacting.
