1. I started the site with an "about" page in the pages section of the default WP install. I also started writing. I was quickly indexed by G for both posts as well as the "about" page.
2. The "about" page remained in the index for several days. If i went to my webmaster tools account and clicked on the info:site.com, this actually brought up my about page. My posts were still being indexed too. All good and dandy right?
3. Well i noticed my titles on all pages were very similar due to the default WP install. I quickly installed the all-in-one SEO pack and made each title, meta description, and keywords unique to each page. This really helped.
4. I then wanted to create some more pages in addition to the "about" page. When I started making them with the new plugin i continued to use unique titles as well as meta tags. However, (And I think this might be my mistake), I also added additional meta tags like index, follow to these pages. The next day my "about" page was removed from the index, and none of the new pages were there either. I then removed the index, follow tags, but these pages still aren't being indexed.
Any ides? I'm a total noob to SEO and to WP so ANY advice would be awesome. Thanks in advance.
BTW, my robots.txt file should be preventing dup content, and its not excluding my pages section.

There's no problem with the index, follow robots meta tag - I think the issue is that your site is still new, in terms of Google.
