Two of my sites are on top for same keywords

Dear all,

Two of my sites are on top for same competitive keywords on Google.

The two sites are:

- on the same topic, however the content is completely different.

For example: the first one is about Google, and the second one is about Yahoo, and both of it ranked top for "search engine"

- the design is 100% different
- Hosting under same service provider
- same registration information

I got the first site on top for months, however, the second one ranks top because it contains keywords in Domain, and because it is useful, so people link to it with keywords on domain.

I did not mean to manipulate the ranking, however, I am really scared about this, should I report it to Google? I am innocent or not? what should I do in this situation?

I don't think you should worry about this since the content is completely different. According to Google's algorithm both sites deserve to be there. People link to it, so it is useful information.
You did not manipulate the rankings. You simply made two good websites that deserve a good ranking. The fact that you own both sites is not important to Google I think. The content and the popularity of the sites are the most important factors.
I have been in a similar situation for over a year with a couple of my websites and never had problems.
