US Site Hosted in the US with US IP Address

why am I showing up for "UK Only" searches?

www.example.com domain on a US server with US IP address and it is showing up in the results for UK only searches on Google.co.uk

What could be causing that?

Many backlinks from UK sites, maybe? Or some mention of a UK address on your pages? I once saw something like this for the main page for a US hosting business after they started pitching UK services on their home page, even though it was a .com on a US IP address.
