I'm seeing a 20% loss in traffic since thanksgiving.I con't figure what is going on. Last year I rebounded after thanksgiving with any issue. This year I'm slowly dying!

Anyone else seeing this?

Well, some sites are always losing while others are gaining. Can you discover which search terms are sending less traffic?

I have not been able to determine the keywords but I have numerous sites and all are seeing approx a 20% traffic reduction. This has happened in the past but for no more then 10 days at the most. This time it has been 3 weeks.

Is this a 20% reduction in Google search traffic, or overall? If it's overall traffic, then a different forum might be the best place for the discussion. If it's just Google traffic, then getting more detailed, without naming specific search terms here, is important to diagnose what you're seeing.

You have to consider the weather in the US. The ice storms in the midwest, heavy snow in the NE, etc..

Do you think that would amount to a 30% traffic loss? Also, that each successive day is breaking all time low records? (on track to break another one today)!

If only Google search traffic is down, and the rest of your traffic is not, then you do have a Google issue. On the other hand, if the cause is the weather or some other more general factor, then all your traffic would be affected - Yahoo, MSN, direct navigation, other referers and so on.

So if it's just Google, then the next step is to see what is happening with Google. Is Google traffic down for all search terms? Or is your Google traffic mostly dependent on one or two "big" search terms and just those have been hit?

You said above "I have not been able to determine the keywords." If this is a Google search traffic issue, then that is your next step - get some kind of analytics in place to make that determination. You will need that knowledge to take intelligent steps.
