0 pagerank, all incoming links also 0

so, today i happened to check my pr and lo and behold my previously 4 site is now 0, and all the pages which have links to me have 0 pr too!

huh?

anyone else seen anything like this? is it that all the sites connected to me are "bad" and have been penalised or is this just a hiccup in an update?

If you have no reason to think that all the sites that link to you have had their PR reduced to zero, then it sure sounds like a bug. Is your traffic affected?

yeah a bit but... and here's the fun part, still ranking in top 10, sometimes top 2 or 3 for the keywords

am losing paid links cos of this which kinda makes me wonder about it (puts tinfoil hat back on).

well that would pretty much sum it up for me!

well now its starting to fall into place. a couple of my sites using a famous text link advertising service have totally bit the PR dust.

the other incoming sites have all retained their PR - looks like the tool i was using was incorrectly reporting their pr.
