Number of No Follow Tags

No follows and how many is too many

I have a number of no follow tags on my front page from a couple of advertisers and data feeds with a lot of legit links and content on the site. My question is at what point will I trip a filter with too many no follow tags if there is such a thing as too many? Thanks in advance for your response.

I can't think of a reason for Google to set any limit - after all, you're taking links out of the web graph, not trying to spam them into the index somehow. The rel=nofollow attribute was created for blog comments, and you can end up with a lot of those on one page.
