Index Page Disappeared From Google Search Results

For many years I enjoyed page one status for my chosen keyword. About two months ago my site disappeared from Google and now just inside pages, (sometime the sitemap and sometimes other pages), appear in the rankings, albeit about 50 pages deep. Any thoughts on what i'm doing wrong? All the pages of my site are indexed in the Google crawl.

I assume your question is "do I have a penalty?" Check out this thread: [webmasterworld.com...] - especially my post #:3495022 (the 12th one or so) where I pinpoint some of the things you can check on.
