My six weeks old site currently holds the #1 spot in Yahoo's, Altavista's and Alltheweb's SERPs but is not even listed in the top 200 in Google and MSN (although the site is present in the index). Do I have to be more patient?

Each search engine has its own logic/algorithm. Chances are that you might gain ground in G but don't be surprised if you don't.

To get to the top in Yahoo and MSN, all you need is a ton of low grade links, with the right anchor text. Thankfully, google is rather more discerning.

The biggest factor you face is the newness of your site. Six weeks is just old enough that any of your temporarily high "honeymoon" rankings are now gone - and you face the reality of probably several months of building a track record with Google and gradually seeing your realistic rankings emerge.
