number of indexed pages going back down?

again? Also, pr gone on subdomain but pages still there

A couple of weeks ago the number of pages I had in Google's index was cut into 1/3. It seemed many were experiencing this.

They then started to go back up slowly.

Now, they are going back down and I'm at about 1/5th of the number I was at.

I'm not sure what is going on...

also, I now have pr0 on one of my two subdomains even though it's pages are still in the index and getting the same amount of traffic.

Something going on (I guess it seems there always is nowadays)? Should I be worried?

It's a healthy sign that your traffic is maintaining. When traffic starts to go, then I worry. Google has recently had issues with what the site: operator reports, but as long as they send traffic, I think it just means one of their tools is buggy.
