Does regaining Google site links suggest renewed "trust"?

...after devalued PageRank due to selling ads

My website lost a lot of trust in Google's eyes over a year ago when I started selling advertising and made mistakes. At the time several of my SERPs included site links which I lost. Having just regained them on a couple of queries leads me to believe Google is starting to trust me properly again. Are there any other conclusions I should draw from this? The site's page rank was at 7, it's now at 4 but after several rounds of devaluations and having never really put much effort into link building I think it's a reasonable figure...

Regaining SiteLinks is a positive sign. It's related not so much to trust asn it's related to seeing your site as an authority for the search term involved. One of my clients just regained SiteLinks for their domain name (without the extension), so it's possible there was a tweak in the algorithm that decides when to dispay SiteLinks.
